Up and running since 2007. Most frequently our work centres around people whose lives aren’t quite ‘right’ – whether that’s because of unemployment, criminal behaviour, drug and alcohol issues, mental health issues etc, Our aim is to help them reposition their lives in a positive way.

Key to this is offering support and training in a real work environment, where quality of service is essential and soft skills such as team work and punctuality need to be good (or, if they aren’t, improved).

The kinds of activities we involve people in are:

  • Making products from recycled wood

  • Painting and refurbishing

  • Work in parks – such as planting and bench refurbishment

  • Invasive weed control – Japanese knotweed etc

  • Work in open spaces (clearance, fly-tipping removal, installations)

  • Wood collections and wood sorting

You can help to support our work by:

  • Buying wood from us

  • Commissioning projects from us

  • Using our Green Team service (especially suitable for organisations like town and parish councils and housing associations)

  • Volunteer with us!

And, if you’re a builder or someone who has good quality timber that you don’t need, please get in touch.
